If your child is ill or unable to take part in normal school activities please do not send him/her to school. Recovery is quicker at home and infection of other children and adults at school will be avoided. The school is not equipped to care for sick children.
If a child becomes unwell after coming to school, his/her parents will be contacted for him/her to be picked up.
If a child requires immediate medical attention, the school must be able to reach a parent at any time during the course of the day. Please be sure to keep your child’s ‘Information Form’ up to date and inform the office immediately if there is any change in address, telephone or mobile numbers during the academic year.
Each birthday is a special milestone! You may want to celebrate the occasion in school by sharing cake or other eatables during Snack Time. You could speak with us prior to your child’s birthday regarding this. However we do not permit balloons, hats, whistles etc and no return Gifts. The birthday child could gift an age appropriate book to the school library. This is not compulsory but it has special meaning for the birthday child.
For Primary children, parents may kindly contact the Communications Officer at Head Start Educational Academy.
School food is compulsory for all Primary, Middle and High School children. Nutritious, freshly prepared vegetarian snacks and lunch are served on campus. |

Personal belongings (clothing etc) which are brought to school should have the child’s name written clearly on them. As we encourage independence and self-sufficiency, we request parents to send their children to The Early Years and Pre Primary in comfortable clothes and shoes they can put on /take off themselves. Kindly do NOT send your child to school wearing expensive jewellery such as gold chains and dangling earrings. We cannot be responsible for the care of such items. A basket is kept near the main entrance of the school for ‘lost & found’ clothing/water bottles/snack boxes. Such belongings that are not claimed after some time may be kept as extras for children at school or donated to people in need.
Primary children are required to wear the school uniform on all working days.
We value meaningful communication and interaction with our parents. Parent Teacher meetings are organized twice a year and written reports are given at the end of the academic year. Please feel free to ask questions or discuss anything related to your child’s progress. However, we ask parents to understand that the teacher’s responsibility during school hours is to the students. If you wish to meet your child’s teacher other than during the arranged meetings please contact our communications officers and leave a message. We will get back to you. Parents may request a meeting or the teacher concerned may schedule additional meetings if necessary.
