Head Start Montessori House of Children, Head Start Educational Academy and their programmes are run and managed by the Head Start Educational Trust.
The Board of Trustees is responsible for the financial management of the school and takes all policy and financial decisions. Decisions related to the educational programme and faculty are made by the Principal in consultation with the Trustees, academic and teaching staff.

Head Start has an enthusiastic and dedicated group of Montessori teachers. Each environment has two Montessori Adults who hold degrees from the Association Montessori Internationale, the Indian Montessori Centre, Indian Institute of Montessori Studies or the London Montessori Centre, in addition to a Bachelors Degree. From the middle school upwards, teachers also have a B.Ed or Masters Degree. Special Educators all have RCI recognition.
Adults are committed to the CHILD, working with, growing with and sharing his/her sense of curiosity and wonder. Faculty members further their own professional training through workshops and continued education.

For our academic/teaching faculty in the Pre Primary and Primary we hire only individuals who hold Pre Primary/Primary Montessori Diplomas from recognised institutions in addition to a Bachelors Degree. From the Middle School upwards, teachers are also required to have a B.Ed and in certain cases a Master’s Degree.
